ACNB Bank Raises $8,700 for Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2018
ACNB Bank recruited 18 teams to participate in Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2018 in Hanover and Gettysburg. Everyone had a blast while helping to raise a total of $8,759.25 to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of York & Adams Counties. The Bank served as a corporate sponsor again this year, and our staff raised $820 of the grand total by participating in Dress Down Day on Friday, April 20.
This year’s total exceeds any other year of fundraising since ACNB Bank first started participating in this event in 2009. To date, our grand total over these past nine years is $48,678. Staff members working at NWSB Bank, a division of ACNB Bank, also joined in the fun this year.
The top three fundraisers (ACNB Bank employees) won the following prizes:
• Chad Herring, Applications Analyst, with the Password Pinsetters team raised $839 and won an Apple IPad 128 GB (valued at $400+)
