ACNB Bank Introduces Management Team for NWSB Bank
The management team for NWSB Bank, now a division of ACNB Bank effective July 1, 2017, includes Tom N. Rasmussen, Market President; Andrew P. Heck, Senior Vice President/Regional Commercial Lending Manager; and, Lisa A. Monthley, Senior Vice President/Regional Sales Manager.
According to James P. Helt, ACNB Bank President & CEO, “We believe these officers will be instrumental in helping ACNB Bank achieve its long-term objectives, while also providing valuable insight into the Carroll County, Maryland, market where NWSB Bank, a division of ACNB Bank, has seven community banking offices.”
Tom N. Rasmussen has 33 years of experience in the banking industry. He most recently served as President & Chief Executive Officer and as a Director of New Windsor Bancorp, Inc. and New Windsor State Bank from 2001 to 2017. Previously, Mr. Rasmussen worked for FCNB Bank, where he served as senior vice president and commercial loan manager from 1992 until 2001. In his new role as Market President, he is responsible for NWSB Bank’s business strategy, operations, and customer service in Maryland. Active in the local community during his career, Mr. Rasmussen has served on the boards of directors for numerous nonprofit and educational organizations throughout Carroll County, MD. He and his wife, Rachael, live in Finksburg, MD. They have two adult sons, Benjamin and William.
Mr. Rasmussen stated, “NWSB Bank is committed to the Carroll County market as we continue to serve both retail and commercial customers in our footprint. The name of our organization may have changed due to the merger into ACNB Bank, but there are still familiar faces as you enter our banking offices and work with our commercial lenders.”
He continued, “Change is never easy. This is an exciting time for NWSB Bank, and another step in our long history as a community bank in Carroll County.”
Andrew P. Heck has worked in the banking industry for 29 years, as well as served as First Lieutenant in the Armor Branch of the United States Army and First Lieutenant in the Army Reserves. He joined New Windsor State Bank in 2009 as Senior Vice President/Commercial Lender and Special Assets Manager. Previously, he worked as a senior vice president/regional commercial lending manager with another local bank in Carroll County, MD. In his new role as Senior Vice President/Regional Commercial Lending Manager, he is responsible for managing NWSB Bank’s team of commercial lenders in Carroll County, MD, and building relationships with existing and new commercial customers. An active member of the local community, Mr. Heck is chairman of the Mount Airy Parks and Recreation and president of Warfield Development Corporation, as well as is involved with several other community organizations in Carroll County. He and his wife, Laura, reside in Mount Airy, MD. They have two adult sons, Corey and Logan.
Lisa A. Monthley has worked in the banking industry for 31 years. She joined New Windsor State Bank in 2000 as the manager of the first branch in Westminster, MD, and most recently served as Senior Vice President/Chief Deposit Officer and Branch Administrator. In her new role as Senior Vice President/Regional Sales Manager, Ms. Monthley is responsible for managing sales and the community banking operations for NWSB Bank’s seven offices in Carroll County, MD. Active in the local community, she serves as a member of the board of trustees and executive committee for Carroll County Food Sunday, as well as is a member of the board of trustees for the Maryland Banking School affiliated with the Maryland Bankers Association. Ms. Monthley and her husband, Charles W. Monthley, reside near Union Bridge, MD. They have a daughter and son-in-law, Dana and John Mangus, and a grandson, Logan.
