NWSB Bank Kicks Off 2022 Fall Season with Food Drive

Lend a Helping Hand to families in need

Bring food, cleaning, and household supplies to an NWSB office

Posted on Sep 09, 2021

NWSB Bank is hosting a food drive in Carroll County, MD, from October 1 to 31 in support of NWSB Helping Hands. This drive will benefit the following community organizations:

All items collected at the five NWSB Bank offices other than Mt. Airy will be split 50/50 between Carroll County Food Sunday and Northeast Social Action Program.

Why we’re lending a helping hand.

As a community bank, we recognize the pandemic and challenging economy have hit the food pantries, shelters and soup kitchens exceptionally hard as they work to keep their shelves stocked for the benefit of low-income families, unemployed and underemployed people, and individuals on modest fixed-incomes---including the elderly and people with disabilities. For this reason, we are encouraging our customers and staff members, as well as other local residents, to lend a helping hand to those that need it most in our local communities.

It’s easy to participate.

Simply pick up a few extra items at the grocery store while running regular errands and drop them off at any one of NWSB Bank’s six convenient locations in Carroll County with lobbies open at this time.

  • College Square
  • Hampstead
  • Market Place
  • Mt. Airy
  • New Windsor
  • Taneytown

Thank you, in advance, for your participation in this important effort that benefits hundreds of residents in need in Carroll County.
