NWSB Bank Kicks Off Fall Season with Food Drive

Lend a Helping Hand to families in need

Bring food, cleaning, and household supplies to an NWSB office

Posted on Oct 01, 2021

NWSB Bank is hosting a food drive in Carroll County, MD, from October 1 to 29 in support of NWSB Helping Hands. This drive will benefit the following two community organizations:

Why we’re lending a helping hand.

As a community bank, we recognize the pandemic has hit the food pantries, shelters and soup kitchens exceptionally hard as they work to keep their shelves stocked for the benefit of low-income families, unemployed and underemployed people, and individuals on modest fixed-incomes---including the elderly and people with disabilities. For this reason, we are encouraging our customers and staff members, as well as other local residents, to lend a helping hand to those that need it most in our local communities.

It’s easy to participate.

Simply pick up a few extra items at the grocery store while running regular errands and drop them off at any one of NWSB Bank’s six convenient locations in Carroll County with lobbies open at this time.

  • College Square
  • Hampstead
  • Market Place
  • Mt. Airy
  • New Windsor
  • Taneytown

Which NWSB Team is the most creative?

TEAM NWSB will use their creativity to build a cool display at each office from the items collected during the food drive. Be sure to visit your favorite office throughout the month to see the display come to life! A prize will be awarded to the office with the most creative display.

Thank you, in advance, for your participation in this important effort that benefits hundreds of residents in need in Carroll County.
