The Taneytown Holiday of Trees, Wreaths and Centerpieces event is free and open to the public from November 18 through December 14 at NWSB Bank, 222 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown, MD.
Public Viewing, Voting, and Silent Auction Hours:
Monday through Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Final Day - Saturday, December 14: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Three prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories:
- 4-Foot Trees
- Combination of Items
The decorated trees, wreaths and centerpieces will be voted on by the general public. A collection box will be positioned by each item, and monetary donations will be used as the voting system. For example, 1 penny = 1 vote, 1 quarter = 25 votes, $1.00 = 100 votes.
The tree, wreath and centerpiece entry with the most money in the collection box will be awarded a prize on the final day of the fundraiser. Certificates will also be awarded to the second and third place vote-getters in each category. All monies collected in the voting boxes will benefit the Taneytown History Museum unless otherwise indicated.
Closing Event & Award Presentation – Saturday, December 14
- The voting process will conclude at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14
- Raffle Prize Winners will be drawn immediately following the presentation of awards.
- The Silent Auction will conclude at 11:00 a.m. on December 14. Winning bids will be announced at 11:30 a.m. Winning bidders must pick up and pay for their items between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on December 14.
This event benefits the Taneytown Heritage and History Museum, a non-profit museum operating solely on the support of volunteers and donations. NWSB Bank is proud to host this event once again this year!
